I was checking some prices on Discount Tire for tires for daughter-in-laws '21 Tucson (225-60-17). This popped up as an option. I can't find much information on it. Tread doesn't look like the AS+3 or others.

I'll do a different thread on some of my choices for hers to debate soon as well as my Accord.

If they are seeking the Pirelli P7 A/S Plus 3 tire, you should direct them to the Sam's Club near Chesapeake Square mall. They currently have them in stock with a $100 instant rebate. The rebate will more than offset the $50 membership fee if they are not currently members.

Not sure what year model of Honda Accord you own, but I can enthusiastically recommend the Pirelli P4 A/S Plus Persist all-season tires for sedans in the Accord/Camry/Sonata midsize class. However, you may prefer an all-weather tire for NY.

They have a Sam's membership. Currently my son is not really seeking anything but eye on some sales, more toward end of summer (hopefully raise at his job by then) and recommendations from me. He knows I research to death and consult BITOG.

The P7 AS3 is on my potential list for both. This post was more to see if anyone knew or heard anything with the AS 4. BITOG is normally really quick on these things even from other countries.

Since they are Sam's Club members, have him keep an eye out for their periodic "Doorbuster" sales. These (semi-annual?) events will offer the current discount combined with another $80 discount on 4 tires. This equates to $100 discount plus free tire installation/road hazard package. The Doorbuster sales only last for 3 days (Fri-Sun) and usually happens during Spring and late Autumn.

I actually bought the P7 AS+2 for my Accord and my daughters Scorpion AS+2 because of one of those sales. Wasn't quite ready but deal to hard to pass up. Like the Conti double rebate if card used for others.

Sadly for insurance regulation reasons, Sam's Club no longer offers road hazard in NY. They will honor if tires purchased in a different state Sam's though.
