Am a little overwhelmed by selection. Seems all three should be the same, just the catalog description is bonkers:

Rwd, E4OD, extended cab, 351W. Getting a rumble at 35-45 under the seat, want to do all of them. Have the non-c-clip clips, the ones that curve back around to give the pliers something to grab.

Why not grab three Moog 254s?

If there's an SKF BF (Brute Force), maybe. Otherwise Spicer solid.

Neapco is good, too, but you'll have to order from Denny's or similar

I guess if you know you'll be religious about regular greasing you could go greaseable, but based upon your mention of the 254 I ASSume you're onboard with non-greaseable.

There's some 5-1330X in Warehouse Deals if you're feeling lucky, but at ~$19.50 w free ship probably no better than RA at ~$17 plus shipping

Let us know what you do!

I hate the 8.8 companion flange, just needlessly makes u-joint replacement more difficult.

Also remember the 12pt bolts are one time use or you'll kill a bus load of nuns AND cause water to flow uphill. Muy peligriso, obviously

Once you have the d/s in-hand should be noticeable as you manipulate each joint.

I service an '87 (8.8) and the pinion bearings have gone but it's obviously sloppy by hand.

Doesn't it make sense to do them all while the shaft is out? I can buy all three on rock auto for the price of one locally.

Meh, up to you. If you're so inclined, sure.

Anymore I loathe replacing a known, working part even if I think I'm putting in quality/OEM level. In the case of your u-joints, I don't think there's a wrong answer -- just personal preference.
