I’ve always wanted one of these compact old schools. Very similar in size to my Foxbodies. The ‘63.5-65 Hard Top body lines with no post and round afterburner looking taillights is what I liked most about them. It was an original San Jose, California built car. Restored 9 years ago. Body was taken apart and repainted original color with clear coat. Nothing was replaced, all original floors and panels. Undercarriage was painted black. 260 engine was rebuilt at the same time and the Ford-O-Matic was replaced by a C4. It’s been driven approximately 20k miles since restoration so it’s a driver. A lot of maintenance parts were installed during the last 3 years. Front disc brakes, suspension, and panhard bar. Smooth cruiser, everything works, and most importantly no rust! :D

Nice! I would ask how much, but I'm sure it was a nice chunk of change!
Seller wouldn’t budge at $16.5k. I think I got a pretty good deal, especially considering these times. Really cool guy too. Gave me a bunch of extra parts, even though nothing needs replacing and a thick folder of all his receipts for the car.

Bought it from your location Jeff! :D
The hobby is still strong in San Ho. The local cars shows, not the big buck shows, bring out us die hards.
I had a friend who had a kinda rough 64 (I think) Falcon with a pumped 289 and 4 speed. Up to about 70 nothing could touch it.
And he never spared the horses... Those were the days!

Sweet! I was a teenager in the 60's so I have a soft spot for the cars from that era. The 1st gen Mustang was based off your car. I've always wanted the cousin to your Falcon Futura, a Comet Cyclone. It would have to be a 1965, black with red interior, 289 (271 hp), with a 4 speed.

You stole it at that price, my guess was going to be $25K, minimum! Couldn't build it for that!
