Pick up rear slider window latch unglued

As the title says, my coworker's plastic window latch on his pickup truck's rear sliding window broke off (came unglued).

I have used the glue kits on rear view windows before with marginal results.

Anyone have a better way to reattach this thing?

Call a glass store and ask.Years back in the auto repair end of it I use to see window regulators that came loose from the glass.It was bonded or glued to one another,We tried everything that was available then.Nothing worked other then a new glass with the plastic already attached that affixed to the regulator.That was 20 or so years back.Call a auto glass store and see if any new advances in adhesives since then.

My Toyota window latch broke off shorty after I bought it. I used Goop brand auto adhesive and it was still holding up fine when I traded it in.
