Hello all,
I've got a 2021 GMC Canyon AT4. The factory H11 bulbs often last the life of the vehicle but are horrible at light output. A common upgrade for H11's is to switch to an H9. There is a plastic tab on the H9 bulb housing that needs to be snipped off but it is otherwise plug and play. The H9's run at 65W and have a higher lumen output than the H11's at 55W. The popular H9 choice is the PIAA Extreme White Plus.
The other option is to run an upgraded H11 like an Osram Nightbreaker 220.
For those who are familiar with both bulbs.... how do they compare? How does the longevity stack up? I'd love to have brighter bulbs but not if I'm replacing them every 6 months. Any thoughts?
