Isn't that the car Ford advertised as looking like a Mercedes? I couldn't squint hard enough to even hallucinate that. I remember my parents looking at one. My mom said it was ugly and they bought an Olds Cutlass Supreme.
They just slapped cheezy outrageous decals, a sportier steering wheel, console shift, and other tack-on's onto an otherwise 1978 wheezy 302 2brl 135 gross hp Grenada lol.

Oh. I meant the run of the mill Granada. That thing in the pic is extra ugly on top.
I'll never forget reading the C&D road test comparo's from 1985 between the GN, The Monte Carlo SS, and the Old's 442. I lusted after those 145hp cars, I loved the way they looked. Then 8yrs later the Ford 5.0 was roaming around with 225hp/300tq and it was a different game. I liked the IROC-Z with the 5.0/5spd too but it didn't fare very well against local Mustangs so I kept gravitating towards Ford.
