Not a lot of information on this oil anywhere is anybody running this oil?
I have a 24 6.7 powerstroke h.o. I switched to this after the first oil change did with Rotella t6 5/40.
The test results came back good with the t6.
I can get a good deal on phillips 66 through work so I thought I would give it a try.
Not sure if it is the same as motorcraft 5/40 diesel oil made by phillips 66. The xt says it has liquid titanium in it whatever that is lol.
I am going to send in a sample on my next oil change and see how it did.
Just seeing if anyone else has had good results with this oil.

Phillips 66 is not just a generic oil company. They used these in many OTR & other applications with great success. A local oil & fuel distributor company uses 66's synthetic blend in their equipment. No reason to think it won't perform well in your application. Biggest thing with this brand is it isn't stocked like Rotella or the other big name brands.

Guardol XT is a heavy 5w40 with a strong additive package. The liquid titanium is the friction modifier that Kendall and P66 uses in their oils. It is literally an organic titanium based additive.

It has PAO in the formula which gives it an excellent PP. likely the same a Motorcraft 5w40 but in a P66 bottle.

Basically a premium HD oil for $30/gallon.

Other way around. P66 makes Motorcraft oil.

When I owned my 2002 F350 7.3, great truck and motor. I used the Motor Craft 15w40, never any issues. As I recall, it was indicated to me that Conoco- Phillips made the Motor Craft oil(s) then, I guess they still do. With my 2011 Ram 3500 Cummins, I run the T6 5w40 year round, never any issues. I can run the 15w40 at temps at zero and above or the 5w40 year round per the Owners Manuel. I choose to run the 5w40 year round.

Thanks, the dealer here that carries it says the otr truckers are getting really good test results with it.
I will send in a sample when I change it again.
I can get it for about $25 a gallon seems like a good deal to me.
It meets ford diesel specs f1 it's on the list, since my truck is still under warranty.
