This morning was the coldest the Regal has seen since I've had it, 28F. It had been sitting for two days while I was off work and the authorities warned us not to drive unless it was an emergency. Also, I have only about two miles before I hop on the big bridge and have to run at 50 mph or more. So I thought it was a good idea, today, to let it idle for two minutes while I locked the doors, put on my seat belt, fiddled with the radio, etc.
Usually (we rarely ever see freezing temps here) I turn the key, do the doors and/or windows, belt and radio, shift into gear, and head off.
