My threshold is about 5 minutes, Ive also left full carts of groceries on more then one occasion behind if there weren't enough registers open. Pep boys is terrible, Autozone by me is almost as bad. I order what I have to online if I can, its scary when dealership parts counters are faster and more receptive then a so called auto parts store.

I must say that on the topic of cash registers and being checked out expediently, VatoGroan is generally better but there's usually some jerk hogging all the parts peoples' attention to get parts for his car, and taking a long time to do it. It's easier for him to walk in with the part number he needed after looking it up on the internet, but some people aren't blessed with enough intelligence to do that and they just take up other peoples' time instead because of their laziness.

In fact, nowadays I order 90 percent of my parts online due to the poor service at the local joints and generally limit my purchases to simple things that even Wal-Mart would stock, like bulbs, cleaning supplies, wax, oil, oil filter, or fuses.
