pentofrost nf in a honda

My friend with the 01 civic needs a coolant flush and the local part store gave him blue pentofrost nf antifreeze is this acceptable in this car?

If the Pentofrost has no silicates and it has phosphates, it would match Honda OEM coolant.

Most European style coolants are not made that way.

I would go to Honda and use their stuff.

Pentofrost NF is G11. I wouldn't use it in a Honda, just get the right stuff.

Yeah I think it has about everything in it that Honda doesn't recommend, silicates, 2eha, borates lol.

G11 doesn't have 2EHA but still.

G11, G12 etc is not really the formula. G11 and Pentofrost NF corresponds to Glysantin G-48 formula which does contain 2EHA. This link is for Comma brand's MSDS but it's all the same approved G48 formula regardless of brand http://www.commaoil.com/productsguide/view/6/353 .
