Penrite just recently introduced a range of oil filters. Looks to be only sold in Supercheap Auto. After a few searches I found the efficiency being stated as 98%+ at 20 micron.

Says 98+% efficiency, but I didn't see at what micron size. Looks like a well built filter.

Our agents down under must provide the availability mix of these new-to-the-market filters.

Will they show up on shelves or be distributed by online sellers?

Wish all filters had that weld nut on them. It would probably add 30 cents to the manufacturing cost if not less. Wouldn't need filter caps on tight to reach ones where you can't get a band or claw wrench on it.

The website says they’re a Supercheap Auto exclusive product.

I ordered one last night and will post some pics when I have collected it.
Wonder if it says where the filter is made on the box? Doing some searching indicates the filters are designed/developed by Penrite in Australia and maybe outsourced for production.

I am hoping it’s made locally but guessing outsourced.
Everything is so expensive in Australia that it’s hard for companies to produce things locally.

I pulled a Penrite and a couple others apart a few days ago and recorded it, hope it's helpful for someone

Nice video, I watched that one on Saturday.
If you ever cut another Penrite it would be interesting to see it next to a Ryco syntec.

Glad you found it helpful! It was originally going to be just a one-off video, but based on the interest I'm going to order a Ryco Syntec for a future video. I plan to get the same model as what was in the comparison so I'll be able to compare it to the Penrite. Thanks for your support!
