I have been using Pennzoil Platinum Ultra 5W20 for years in both my 2008 Mazda Miata and my 2006 Ford Mustang GT convertible and have been very happy with it. My only problem is I am having more and more problems finding it. I can't decide whether to switch to M1 or Amsoil or Pennzoil Platinum. Suggestions?

M1 or PP because you can get it at Walmart at a good price.
Walmart has it online for about $28 for a 5 quart jug. They are often out of stock on it, but they do get it back in stock. I buy a one year supply and have it shipped to the house free. They also have it on rollback from time to time bringing the price down a bit. I was able to cash in on a Rollback and rebate they had last year on it.
If your happy with PU you will be happy with PP. There is no need for Amsoil, I am sure it is a fine oil but there are plenty of excellent options right down at your local Walmart for less money. Mobil 1 is also great but again, you seem to be happy with PU so why not stay in the Pennzoil family.

Do your next oil change with Platinum and stock-up on the Ultra when / if you ever find it.

I'd be just as happy with Quaker State Ultimate Durability too. You can get that at $19.77 at W/M less $7 mfg rebate. Your car probably couldn't tell the difference between Quaker State Ultimate Durability and Pennzoil Platinum.

@ AZ this morning I bought Pennzoil Conventional in the new bottles. They didn't have it along the back shelves where they used to along with all the other oils. They had all the new bottled Pennzoil's (Pennzoil Conventional, HM, PP) in a separate stand more towards the front of the store. I didn't see it until I was up by the register to pay for other auto related stuff. Was thinking I was going to have to go to another store. Guess I was used to the oils being in the oil section.

Don't fall for Scamsoil, go with Platinum and sleep well at night! It's available just about anywhere you can think of, that's why I use it. Closest place I've physically found Ultra to me is 130 miles away at a big Walmart supercenter, and only in 5 quart jugs. I'd love to run Ultra, but don't see the need to go out of my way to find it when I know Platinum is a darn good oil that is overkill for 90% of daily drivers' needs.
