I've been to three different Walmarts in my area this week and only one of them carries Ultra, and they've only got 5w20 (I bought their last jug of 5w30 a couple of weeks ago)
Right now I have two 5L jugs of Ultra, and so I need one more jug in order to have two oil changes worth for my Vette. So I figure I had better search now for that last jug, just to be sure I've got enough Ultra for two oil changes. Then after that, if they discontinue it, I'll figure out a new oil to run in the end of 2013 (since I will only need to do one oil change per year now that the Vette is not my daily driver)

My LS1 has never really had a noisy valvetrain, although back in the day when I ran GC it was a tiny little bit quieter than it has been with PP and PU. But compared to other LS1s I have heard mine is still very quiet.

Only one time did I need to locate another out of town store to purchase additional Ultra prior to an oil change which I did at home. There are also two Pennzoil/Shell jobbers or distributors, within 40 miles, that always carry Ultra but you will pay a higher price from those sources.

I bought the last 6 bottles of 5w-20 PU at pep boys with a bosch d+ filter for 40 bucks. i think they were trying to get rid of it,
