Hi Guys,

Does anyone have specs, or a spec sheet, for Pennzoil Mercon V? I tried looking it up off the Pennzoil site, but they don't have the Mercon V listed, only Mercon/Dex III.

I can get it locally at PepBoys, and this is about the only Mercon V I can find locally. Pennzoil Motor Oils, and conventional Mercon fluid, have impressive specs so I'm hoping this is the same.

The Mercon V is going in my 1995 Town Car with the 4R70W transmission. Do you think it would be a problem with a shop if I brought my own fluid?

Thanks!

Try Looking up the Pennzoil Multi-Vehicle ATF,It carries the Mercon v rating

PENNZOIL MULTI-VEHICLE ATF can be used in passenger cars, trucks and buses, off-highway construction/mining
equipment, agricultural equipment, mobile hydraulic systems, industrial machinery, and power steering systems which
require DEXRON, DEXRON II, DEXRON-IIE, DEXRON-III, MERCON or MERCON V fluids.

Might I recommend buying Amsoil Universal ATF or Redline D4 ATF? Its fully synthetic and meets Mercon-V spec.
