pennzoil high mileage?

For the first time i will use this oil in a 1998 f150 4.6 with 132k on it .Is this oil as good as maxlife blend?
Im only using it couse wanted to try something different thats all,by the way is this a semi-synthetic too like the max life?
If its not i guess its not as good right?

I don't think Pennzoil High Mileage is a semi. Besides, like you said, Maxlife has done well for you, so why change? Just to change?

There is such an extremely small margin between conv and semi these days I would let that sway your though on one being better then another. Honestly there is probably very little difference and possibly the pennzoil might has a little better add package

With GF5 coming out, aren't they all synthetic blends now anyway?

No they will just not be able to use any Group 1 in the formulations. Most conventional oils are going to be Group II or Group II+.

I'm running Pennzoil High Mileage 5w30 in my 1998 F150 V6 with a few miles short of 250K on the engine right now. Will be at my 3000 mile OCI in another week or two. Dip stick still shows full and I have no complaints.
