Purchased vehicle last year, history looked good but who knows for sure. Dumped oil, added liqui moly engine flush to fresh oil, dumped that and filled with Penn Euro L. Engine runs smooth, no issues, I added zero oil over the course of a year/7k, literally the digital display never moved. They didn’t have this oil at Wallyworld a few weeks ago, so I’m currently filled with Mobil ESP 5w30 which is SP compared to SN (Penn Euro L). Only question I have is iron content… is that a sign of timing chain wear? Thoughts or concerns?
Edit: forgot to mention vehicle is used NE area of the US.

I would retest next oil change.. might be some cleaning going on.
although oil analysis with the first run of a new oil in the engine is not the most accurate..
compared to several reports with the same oil.
its not a bad report.

Also it appears you have either shearing or fuel dilution as euro L is above 12cst(12.5??) and they tested it under 10.

Contrary to theblackstone comments I would not extend to 9000 miles.
I would change again at 6000-7000 miles and get another oil analysis.

My Opinion: M1 esp 0w30> M1 esp 5w30 > pennzoil euro L .. all 3 are good oils.

Appreciate you sharing your insight! Unfortunately I had to change oil blend as the Euro L wasn’t available, so I guess we will never know if that was cleaning action or not. I will check out ESP 0w-30 as well for the next fill.

This is your first test so I can't say what's going on long term yet. Yes it shows almost double Fe but you'll know more in future reports. BN a bit low for the mileage. Overall, decent report.

Yeah this report is from Blackstone which is completely incapable of determining why a viscosity deviation occurs. The sample may very well have fuel dilution.

I am also unsure what “cleaning” would show in a UOA. I would not be concerned about that iron content.
