Me too. I'd like to leave a halfway decent world for my kids.
I don't have children, but I don't understand how someone could have children and NOT want to leave a decent world for them.

While it seems like a pretty balanced article, the authors credentials are pretty weak. New College of Santa Rosa is not much of a college. I actually think it went out of business.
I think his comments about the tragedy of the discovery of oil do not affect the content of the rest of the article. They are separate issues.
