It's a good oil on paper as far as dino goes. The NOACK is over the
Just don't run it for an extended OCI without a used oil analysis first. Other than that it's a perfectly fine oil at a decent price. The STP filter is made by Champion labs and it's an adequate filter.

It's the same as WPP made Super Tech.

I would check the bottom of the container and see if you find a "WPP" or other identifier (other than a recycle symbol, etc). If WPP is the bottler, that does not necessarily mean they manufacturer/blend it (although it could), but it does mean that at least they bottle it. WPP is the distributor of most Walmart lubricants.

Same company that is responsible for Split-Fire spark plugs. That really says a lot of the wrong things for the company overall.

Interesting but irrelevant to me. Isn't it Quaker State who puts Slick-50 into their high mileage oils? That doesn't mean that all SOPUS products are as questionable. Don't evaluate one product based upon the merits of another, even if made by the same company.
I know of few who would base their opinion of a Toyota Camry based on the experience they might have had with a Toyota fork truck.
