PDR dent repair

I'm trying to fix a dent by Hot Glue PDR route but the glue slightly stick to the paint. I think it's the wax I applied on the car several months ago. For those who were successful using this route, what chemical did you apply first in order for the glue to stick to the paint?

I'd GUESS cleaning with 90% Isopropyl would be a starting point.

Sometimes the glue type pdr just isn't strong enough for some dents. I agree with the above recommendation to clean with alcohol to have the best adhesion.

PDR is an art that takes years of practice to master. If this is on a nicer car like the Jag, take it to a pro.

$90 a few years ago for a ding on the crease of my door. Can't see it. Wait till you have a few to fix, pay $$$, watch in astonishment at how amazing they are at their work, and have a cold one in your driveway while they do the work. You most likely won't regret it.
