Yes, no love for the PayPal. I had an issue years ago with a company credit card that needed to be used for a vendor via PayPal, and the company has since gone bankrupt. They put requests on all of their credit cards that all purchases were either unauthorized or fraudulent (to avoid paying the charges). Net effect PayPal demands cash payment from me, a private citizen not linked with the company, to make payment for this chargeback. Despite multiple letters, complaints, and phone calls filling PayPal into the fraud that this other company is involved in, they have the nerve to have a collection agency try to go after me for this company purchase...without any contact from their end. So off to the BBB and the credit reporting agencies, even notifying the issuing bank of their client's fraud.
This was a few years ago, still pending....a nice reflection on my credit report and PayPal freezing my account, which still has money in it
I have other accounts now, but I had to remove my bank accounts from service because PayPal was attempting to seize funds without my permission...fortunately my bank agrees with me and not them. We're only talking about $500, but the principle remains.
So be careful with PayPal, especially if you use them for business...have separate accounts, even just a "PayPal input account" where you can transfer funds on your side/bank's side and then input/output to avoid any issues.
