Parts Master 67356X cut open

Label says "Engineered for Premium Synthetic" (not "from"). so not sure if they are saying it's synthetic media or engineered for synthetic oil use.

Edit - the video sounds like a synthetic blend (not 100% synthetic) media. That video was for the Wix built filter, but as pointed out the box shows Champion Labs. Side note - guy in the video says oil filters have been under appreciated, must be reading BITOG filter forum, lol.

That yellow base gasket needs a burn test to see if it's silicone ... it probably is.

the box say synthetic media, the label says manufactured for premium synthetic, which would imply oil. I’m not the filter designer or the marketing guy so I can only speculate their intent.

Yeah, I was going to say they need a new marketing manager, lol.

Yeah, video is 4 years old & a lot can change in that time. I'd say they either had rebranded WIX filters or they just source a few Champs? IDK

You never know with parts house brands anymore. They all typically end up with one of 4 manufacturers just who ever will do it for them the cheapest. Either way, I hope somebody is able to find the thread helpful.
