Parts Master 61348 C&P

Off of a Kohler powered riding mower at work, unknown oil or interval. I put a Wix 51348 back on along with about 2 quarts of bulk AC Delco (supposedly) 15W40. The ADBV was very stiff. Roughly 300 hours on the machine, who knows, this filter may have been on there for most of those.

Looks fine. The one negative imo, topic filter uses a nitrile combo valve and you mention it was "stiff". That could have an effect on bypass, though imo less critical in OPE use. The Wix replacement would have a separate bypass. The oil doesn't look all that dirty.

I agree, I personally wouldn’t use this filter again if it was my choice. I’ve had some stiff nitrile ADBV’s before, but this one was VERY stiff. I’d personally throw a cheapo PH3614 with a silicone ADBV on there over this one if it were me.

Looks good, I did want to ask about the diesel riding mower you posted about. There aren't many of them?

I snapped a few pictures for you. It’s a Harper All Terrain mower with a Yanmar in it. It pivots for mowing ditches so the rider sits straight up.
