I'm going to replace the bearings in a denso alternator on my Acura. I have the Honda part# but need to convert it to bearing std number.
Is there a chart someplace, I can't find it anywhere.
While on the subject, I want a quality bearing and not come short lived china made stuff.
I suppose I could tear it down and check sizes and order them but I prefer to have the bearing in hand before I start. The down side of small town living is no bearing supply house like in the big city.
Thanks for the help
Smoky

Those are PTzeros by the way:

Online they are $17.70 from a Honda dealer. I have found that some local dealers will discount their price somewhat if you ask, or find an online dealer near your house.

If you get them from Honda you have a pretty good chance they will be Japanese, or at least not Chinese...

While searching I found a PN of 279 on Amazon, but I can't get that number to cross to anything.
I appreciate all your help and I may just have to side line the car and pull the alt and go looking for bearings. my local Honda dealer wants $29.00 for each bearing and I just can't bring myself to pay that much when I know it is a standard item.
If the weather stays nice I may just take the bike to ElPasoand shop around.
