Has anyone been able to get the Parallels Tools (Parallels 8) to install in an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS vm?

I've been Googling like crazy and trying everything I can think of and still can't get them to install. I get "Error: Could not build kernel modules". I am running 3.11.0-18-generic headers.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have gcc and the kernel-devel packages installed? I think you may also need the kernel-source as well. Parallels tools compiles them so you need to have that environment available.
