paint remover for bumper

Question - I have some white paint on my grey bumper (shiney plastic type bumper)that belongs to someone else. Whats the best way to remove it without damage to the finish on the bumper?

I had the same problem with my wife's SUV. I used rubbing compound, then waxed the area. It worked great on her plastic bumper.
