I would like to replace the front bumper cover on my 2017 Accord. I found this site online: Paint N Ship. They sell bumpers already painted for about $360.00. Anyone here ever use this company?

There’s paint matched cheap bumpers on eBay, maybe from them. I’ve seen some people on YouTube use them and the results aren’t that bad for a beater-ish car.

They come rolled up in a small box and you’ve got to let it sit in the sun to unfold

The other thread mentions at least some sellers might offer "unfolded" or "unrolled" options for a higher shipping fee ‐‐ which I would definitely pay if available.

In 2021 our Civic got rear ended and the bumper cover broke. No damage under the bumper cover. I used https://paintapart.com/pages/about-us for a new bumper cover. There was a very slight difference in the shade since it was new and the car was seven years old. The bumper cover came folded in thirds but straightened out nicely in the sun. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Assuming your 2017 Accord isn't a show car, I'd say give one a try. I considered going this route for my 2016 Malibu, but the problem is, there are so many other little bits and pieces I need for the complete bumper cover, the cost just kept going up. She's zip tied together and majorly weight reduced with far fewer part numbers
in the meantime.

I’ve seen some that explicitly claim or parts and NOT rolled up. For that I’d be marginally interested.

Paint N Ship is a sweatshop operation. One of the members on a Gladiator forum had ordered some painted fender flares and made double sure when he placed the order that they were for a Rubicon as they are different. They shipped standard Sport model flares and refused to either make it right with correct replacements or take the ones sent back and refund. Paint N Ship basically told the member to piss off but little did they know he was actually lawyer and sued them for fraud forcing the venue to be done and served out in NJ civil courts. With Paint N Shipped being based out of TX. Paint N Ship then had their lawyers grovel to him to drop it and they offered to make it right and refunded him completely + a little extra and paid for the defect product to be shipped back to them.

The point that came out of all this is that if you are just a regular Joe without the means to bring civil legal action, they are junk company to deal with should you have issues.

Same or similar as partify.

The paint was horrible for the hood and bumper.

Orange peel. Thin areas. They reimbursed me the painting fee so I just paid for the bumper. Wish I made them swap it out as a year later the paint on the bumper is cracking and peeling.

But the body shop
Told us it would be at least $3k just to paint with this Altima silver.

So for $800 I can’t complain

I have to correct myself. It was "ReveMoto" and not "Paint N Ship". Both are in Houston but separate addresses.

Reference the story though at the link below:

It’s incredible when you look at the rates that insurance allows them to charge, even today…
