Oversized Horizontally Mounted Oil Filter Application

I'm thinking of running an oversized filter on the wife's Aztec. Normally takes a PF47 O.E.M. filter. Wix listed 51036 as an oversized equivalent. My question is since the filter mounts horizontally will this have any bad effects on the engine at all?

On the 3100/3400 engines often there is enough room for the PF-52, which is identical to the PF-47 except for an extra 3/4-1" in length. Make sure there is enough room to easily get it out and that it will not come close to anything(remember the engine moves) and it will be fine.

I guess with an oversize filter and a faulty ADBV it would take longer to refil the filter when starting.
