Oversized filters list...

How about a list of oversized filters?

For example a Fram 6607 can be replaced (if there is room) with a Fram 7317...
They should have the same filter base and bypass pressure...


Original --- Oversized
Fram 6607 - Fram 7317
Purolator 14612 - Purolator 14610

Fram 3614 - Fram 3600
Purolator 10241 - Purolator 20195

I use all of these as oversized filters on my Saturn and RX300. They shrank the size of the FL-400S, but it still has to meet the specs when it was longer.

if you know an oversize filter, please post the original, then the oversize
one.
Put other manufacturers filter numbers below Fram / Purolator equivalents...

I did not start this to be a "whats my oversized filter for my XXXXX".
Not all cars have an oversize, and not all can run them due to space constrictions.

The short filter to the below filters was the Fram 3614.

Short=PH30. Long=PH5

Original is 10241 (L or PL)
Way oversize is 30001
I think this gives about 4x filter media.
This is for purolator pureone and classic.

According to Purolator's sit
Probably pushing my luck, But is there a FL-1A with a S-ADBV?
Its on a 4.6 mod motor that my dad drives 12 hours a day in NYC traffic that I would like to stretch the OCI's on, So silicone would be ideal.

I'll be quiet now....

Edit: According to Purolator's site, the 400S # isn't a valid part #.

Edit: According to Purolator's site, the 400S # isn't a valid part #.

FL-1A does not have a silicone ADBV.
The number is FL400 on the Purolator cross reference.
The P1 PL3001 is the FL-1A equivalent, but has a silicne ADBV.

It says that the L/PL 24651 is the equivalent to a FL-820s.

Getting very confused.
