I drove past a Hostes outlet store earlier and the line to get in was around the corner! They even had a guard at the door. I just watched a box of Twinkies sell for $40 on Fleabay!

We can only hope that the companies assets will be sold to someone who wants to resume production.With workers that want to work.
At that price, the company ought to be able to stay in business. Who knew people were willing to pay so much for Twinkies?
I really don't see the attraction to twinkies and other products they sell? Really bad for you ...

it just boggles my mind that what a week, week and a half? after at least 2 states decriminalized pot, that Hostess goes out of business?
if they just could have held out another month or 2, with targeted advertising in Washington, and Colorado...
may have made a world of difference to their bottom line..

FEMA should have bought Hostess and used the Twinkies for survival food in natural disasters since the shelf life of those things are decades.
This is insane. Hostess food tastes like poopy. It has some bitterant in the dough part and is extremely dry...
Although on that note I have like 4 chocolate twinkies. Is that like pure heroin to black tar heroin on the twinkie market as far as price goes?
