Outdoor security cameras that run on battery/solar

I am looking at 2 or 3 outdoor security cameras at church camp for the winter when few people are around. They need to be either battery/solar or POE. No power on for winter in the areas they will be located in. Our old system needed AC power close by and each power meter left on for winter is $400.

I can record local or cloud.

If I went POE I would go Ubiquity. If I went battery/solar then I would need to pick one.

You do not state the distance that CAT 5 cable would have to run from the NVR to the camera or how far a camera would have to transmit a wifi signal to a central location/router.
Im getting "tripped" up on your power statement. Its kind of vague.
Is there a central location at the camp that will have power and internet? If so, how far is the distance?

How far upstate? It gets quite cold up there, batteries might become useless in sub freezing temperatures, make sure if you go battery that you get the operating temperature range of the cameras that you are picking out before going through the hassle, it will be easy to find. I suspect that in itself will rule out battery.
