I have good WalMart near the house. It carries both M1 4T and Valvoline Syn 4T. I have had both in my BMW K1200R snd I can definitively say the big K strongly prefers the Valvoline. The engine is much quieter and revs much more freely w/ the Valvoline. Shifts are fine. Both M1 4T and Valvoline 4T run about $7.99 or so in my local WallyWorld.

I have found some good info on the Rotella T6 and the Castrol, but on the Royal purple, Valvoline, and the Mobil 1 I feel I have not been able to find much information about these oils, not just on this site but on the web overall.
You're not looking very hard if you can't find info on the Mobil 1 4T on this website. I now have two successive used oil analyses from my shared sump bike posted in the Motorcycle Used Oil Analysis board.

What can happen to a wet clutch if you use PCMO?
What different about MC oil than PCMO that combats this?
The idea behind not using a pmco is the fact that they contain friction modifiers and may affect clutch performance.

I'm yet to ever see an issue with clutch slippage from oil, no matter what oil was used.
