I have used fluid film. It did a good job of protecting my Toyota frame. I used the rattle cans. It was messy. But I’m willing to do it again. But is there anything easier to slide under there and hit the frame and rear end to give it mild protection. I don’t live in a salted area. They maybe put brim down two or 3 times a winter. I keep my butt home normally. What’s my options. Thanks Wardawg

surface shield is pretty good in the can, but if you already did FF, I'd do more FF or woolwax(thicker FF)

Noxudol. The application I sprayed on is still there going on almost 3 years

This guy is local to me and has sprayed my last two trucks. The undercoating/rustproofing stays semi-tacky forever (yeah, it’s kind of a mess when working on the truck). You can buy his products in aerosol cans and in quarts for spray gun application. He sprays the inside of each panel/hood/tailgate, etc. It’s a very unique coating and works extremely well. The name is Rick Fennell Rustproofing. Here’s a link to his products if you’re not local.

The rattle cans kind of goop up but you can buy FF in gallon cans then use an air compressor and sprayer. It's still messy, and you have to transfer the product from the can to the sprayer and it doesn't cooperate.

Do all the cars at once, wear old clothes, put a towel on the car seat if you have to move it to bring the next one in. And wear a respirator, it gets cloudy under there and that can't be good for you.

This is something new to me in my knowledge and in my area. It's WAXOYL
The shop has been around for about 25 years and 10 years doing some kind of rust control type of products but this stuff I believe is NEW.

Watch some of the videos. I can't believe that the guy isn't wearing any PPE or protecting the vehicle paint/windows/interior for the over spray.

I live in North Carolina. I’ve searched lightly, for a shop service that does it professionally. Kinda don’t exist in my neck of the woods. I’m still searching. I don’t have a rust problem. But wanted to put a protective layer on it for years down the road. I want to keep this truck. 2025 Nissan Frontier. Retired deal. I glanced underneath it yesterday. It’s clean and rust free. I remember my 2005 Tacoma frame getting rusty . I sprayed it with FF after the fact. Messy as heck. Crap all over me. Glasses and the wife said the garage smelled like ASS. She wasn’t wrong. 😑
