As I have been a participant in this thread myself, I'm hesitant to take Admin action on it, but this has so far outlived its original intent/question, I see no reason not to, particularly when disagreement starts to get personal. Time for a little "lethal interjection."
And in the future, let's try to keep the questions and discussion more specific so that threads don't end up descending into predictable "tastes great -- less filling" debates.
