First, let me apologize for posting this in the wrong forum. It seems like there isn't a place I can post operational problems.

For example, the "Board Issues" section won't allow me to post a new topic or even reply to existing topics.

The problem I want to report has to do with the reply box. If I post a lengthy reply - yeah, yeah, I do that a LOT!!! - the reply box will only scroll down to a certain point while I am typing.

I can demonstrate this:

Copy this post and paste it in a reply box. Then type at the end of this post. The reply box only displays up to the words "I can demonstrate this:" as I type. This makes editing a reply very, very annoying.

If someone can notify the administartors of the web site, I would appreciate it.

I don't have this problem. I just tried to duplicate the behavior you are seeing and I could not. I'm using Win 7 64-bit with FireFox and IE8.

Edit: Oh, wow. trippy. I just got it to work. Wow, that's super super annoying. I don't have this issue in FireFox or running IE in a FireFox tab. It seems to happen in the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version of IE8.
Edit again: yup, compatability view works in IE8. It's amazing what you learn on BITOG.

Has anyone else noticed a multi page thread will sometimes have the last page be completely empty? Where'd it go?

That could be your browser not using its normal profile, missing cookies. I get that with email links as a result of crudely forcing firefox to use an old profile every time I launch it from its shortcut.

Mine has been trouble free in the last few months, except yesterday and the day before access was REALLY slow and timed out a few time.s

Wow, I just now discovered this thread over here! Probably never would have looked here if it wasn't dead slow at work right now.

OK, I'll try the compatibility mode.

Well, I went to my properties tab and the page says that comparibility is built-into the version of windows that I have and can not be changed!

Any other ideas?

How about IE9?
