One Piece Garage Door Broken

This is one of the outswinging doors. It is supported on each side by pivoting arms and one of the arms is broken (hinge pin socket tore in half). They don't make any hardware for the one piece doors anymore.
Is there a source for NOS? Or used ones? If not I will have to patch the existing one. Only alternative is to replace the entire door with a sectional door.
This is for a friend of mine and I would normally recommend just replacement with a new door but we have an odd situation. My friend is using his neighbour's garage temporarily for storage for the overflow from his florist business. The garage is very old and rickety and my friend is reluctant to fork out a couple of thousand bucks for a new door for a garage that is not his and in very poor shape.

You could try to remove the entire broken bracket, take it to a welding shop and either have them weld it back together, or fab a new bracket.,,

It probably will work but is more work than I want to expend on this old garage. Much less work to fabricate a new hinge socket on the existing bracket.

That might work. It would need to a larger barrel bolt.

Arrow points to the hole (torn now) which receives the hinge pin. I am going to cut a short length of angle iron, drill a hole in it to receive the pin and mount it on the door jamb.

Also need to straghten out the arm, looks like it has been bent for years. No matter how much I straighten it, it is never going to be as strong as it was originally because of the crinkled metal.

Got it done. Cut a length of angle iron and drilled a 1/2 in hole and used a 1/2 shouldered bolt as the pivot. This way my friend does not have to pay for a new door.

Next question - the bottom of the door rubs on the door jamb on one side. How do I remedy this? All I can think of is raising the entire arm assembly on the opposite side. This should pull the bottom of the door away from the jamb.
