One oil filter, 1 year, 2 oil changes, 8k miles, run it or cut it?

I've got the fram synthetic endurance oil filter on the old dodge sludge engine.
I put that oil filter on there June 28th last year. Only took it off to dump the oil out of it last time I changed the oil after 4,000 miles. Well it's been another 3,900 miles.
Am I cutting it or running it for another 4,000 miles?

I wouldn't run a filter 8k on a known heavily sludged engine. Cut it.

Don’t take them off when using it for two oil changes. If you break the seal, throw it away. I have run two oil changes per filter for 30+ years. It’s no concern.

Alright the cuts have it. I pulled it off stuck a twig in the anti drain back valve and let it drain for an hour or so in the catch pan then set it on my wood pile. I will cut it open later today.

Ok the 8 thousand mile oil filter does not disappoint. Yous guys was right. I was thinking run it till 12,000 miles. Glad I didn't. Continued here.

Got a 1999 Dodge 5.2l Dakota. Changed the oil, at unknown miles. But I think the oil filter has 2 oil changes on it.
I say that because it looks like someone used channel locks to attempt unscrewing the oil filter, gave up, ran the filter with the channel lock scratches long enough for them to rust. I had to use a strap wrench to remove it.
You can see in the pic where the dome of the filter I kind of crushed.

Think I'll change the oil again in about 1,000 miles.
