One billion dollar lottery ?

I never contribute to the lottery, it's nothing more than a waste of money and a voluntary tax.

^ I stopped by the store where I bought my ticket. They scanned my ticket and I won $11. I'm $9 ahead.

How is that?
To win $11 you would have to of bought 2 tickets (one ticket winning $4, the other winning $7), meaning you spent $4.
$11-$4=$7 last time I checked, not $9.

Still did better than me though. I spent a total of $40 over the last 2 weeks and "won" $8, so $32 in the hole. I bought a soda and pocketed the rest.
It was nice to dream though.
I am on vacation this week so I am not driving, so I don't have to fill my tank this week. So much for that savings.
