I power flushed my brake system this weekend. The old stuff was Castrol LMA DOT 4 fluid, and was in there 2 years. The old fluid looked greenish when it came out. I never seen greenish fluid. These pictures don't show the greenish tint.
Two years is as long as you want to go, espeically with DOT 4 fluid. As the fluid absorbs moisture it can get a little corrosive due to free boric acid. The green tint (if it is not dye) could be from some mild copper corrosion.
