I truly totally agree with you. But the system is the system. If the defendant’s lawyer makes that happen..its the fault of the system. I still don't hold that against the lawyer.

I really don't care much for the adversarial legal system. You got a professional judge, professional lawyers, professional DA etc, all experts at law matters, but then 12 random cookies not smart enough to get out of jury duty draw conclusions and make a decision. Meh.

Yep, totally agree there. Pretty scary to imaging how some of these jurors think about the evidence presented.
 
20 years ago I was on jury duty, Secret Service arrested person with $1 million in counterfeit money.

11 jurors said guilty, 1 said not guilt cause she felt bad to convict defendant. Eventually she voted guilty and case was over. After that experience.... I will not be a juror.
