Hi, guys. I drive a 2004 Hyundai Elantra with 10.5k miles on it. Currently running Havoline 5w30 conventional.

I was looking at the Quaker State Winter Blend, did a search on here and read that it was pretty good in the winter. Is it worth the extra money over the Havoline?

As far as driving habits, I drive mostly short trips (
Any other oil suggestions? Thank you.

I have read the data on the winter blend stuff. But I don't think that it offers any significant benefit for your application. My suggestion would be to drive a little bit more if possible to get your oil temp up. What is your current OCI?

Current OCI is 3k, which generally is around 3 months. A good portion of my miles are freeway, but most trips are short. The car does not use oil at this point.

Does your car sit outside over night? If so you might want to consider a full synthetic such as Mobil 1 5w30. Putting in a container of RedLine 5W-20 would work. I do this constantly and get great Oil analysis. Havoline is a great oil.

Unfortunately, yes, it is parked outside every night. Not sure if I can afford Mobil 1 (college student), or that would definately be going in the car.
