I've been running Rotella T6 5W-40 in my folks' 2.slow MK3 Jetta for about 2 years. It's got about 150k miles on it now and it saw few regular changes until they bought it a few years before that with 80k-ish miles on it. I've been changing it for them approximately every 7500 miles. It runs great on that oil. It doesn't consume any oil between changes.
