Isn't Citgo that recycled oil?

Huh? News to me. I thought it was only Safety-Kleen and some oil in Cali that were available here in the US. I have no probs with recycled stuff anyway....

Using Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 in my 2005 Colorado w/ AC PF-61 filter. Dyson Analysis seems to think it does OK at 7000 mile OCI in my truck (based on analysis results). I just had the cylinder head replaced under warranty at 35k miles (2004-2005 known issue w/ valve seats), and the OEM head was clean as could be in all "oil" areas. In looking at head, it was as clean you would expect from a vehicle w/ 100 miles on it.

BTW... Dyson analysis picked up a fuel dilution issue at 15,000 miles. At 34000 miles, truck set code for random multiple misfires. Turns out the valve seats were bleeding compression, probably leading to the dilution problem. The fact that Terry caught this LONG before the MIL lit up has helped make me a believer in oil analysis.
