This may not be the right place for this question but here goes. I have noticed on my 4.3 liter Chevy motor that when the engine has been run and everything gets completely heated up then when I come to a stop and put it in park that my oil pressure gauge goes down to 20 lbs but when I go back into drive and push on the gas it jumps up to 45 lbs or so. I really didn't think that it went down that far (thought a shy 40 before) Is this low a pressure in park (some 20 lbs lower) OK or is there something that needs to be done? When I first start it up the pressure would go up to 60-65 lbs and gradually work its way down to 45 lbs at normal operating temps. Didn't know if there was something bad I could stop from happening to the motor. Any help if needed is appreciated.
