I just bought a replacement condenser fan motor to replace the one in the outside AC unit. It has plugs for yearly oiling and needs 20W non-detergent oil. Is there a source of small quantities of oil like this at the hardware store, like 3-in-1 oil or similar?

3n1 makes a oil for electric motors which I believe is 20w... it comes in a can that looks just like the regular 3n1, except the can is blue, not red.

Try SAE SA grade 20 weight motor oil. Being in Spring Texas straight weight 20W-20 will be hard to find. Besure to get the SA or SB grade. Usually this kind of oil can be found in Stop and Rob type store under their own brand name.

If thats not available Hunter ceiling fan oil is 20w non-detergent.
