Oil filter recommendations for 450-500 hp K20C4

Yes DCT automatic shifts faster and the car is awd. His 60 foot times were 1.8 and mine were 2.4-2.5. I gotta figure out how to get a better 60 foot time there’s higher horsepower Accords getting 1.9x.
Shift time matters when you're doing it 6-7 times in a run instead of 3 or 4.

In doorslammer classes, two-speed powerglides are still formidable when well-tuned.

60fts are all about traction, and thus weight transfer. In a FWD car that means the stickiest biggest tires you can fit up front with optimal tire pressure, chopping the front suspension super low to move the CG lower and reduce transfer to the rear, then staggering your spring preload to account for side to side traction differences with the open differential. IN other words, you need adjustable coilovers if you want to dial in better 60 ft.

You'll be good with any euro rated 40 grade like mobil 1 0w-40. But I think I'd rather use Mobil 1 15w-50 which isn't that thick at 4.5 hths and will shear down to 4.0-4.1 but that's still plenty.

Though I'm more concerned about that little transmissionverse 10 speed taking on that much power. I think I've read somewhere it being rated for only 280ft of torque and that's almost what the 2.0t puts out and the 2.0 is the strongest engine honda dares to pair it with. Honestly I don't know if I'd do it.

As for the filter I'd use the new carquest EP filter with wire backing. But that 10 speed is the weak point. If that 2019 had the 6 speed manual sure it can take it. Stock clutch wouldn't be happy in the long run but the rest of it can take it better than the 10. I'd look into doing a transmission swap since honda made the accord with a manual until 2020 but that adds more to it.
I was wondering about the transmission, too. I am ignorant, but that was my thought and hunch. I'd want to make sure it can handle that power. Especially given transmissions seemingly being a weak link for Honda in any given make, model, and year.

I don’t want to jinx anything but there’s several 500+ whp Accords running the stock 10 speeds without any apparent failures and now there’s one making 600+ whp. Good fluid and a transmission cooler for sure. But other than that stock internals.

Looks like you are having a ball, so good on ya!!!! And thanks for sharing!! I like to mod for reliability......I'm curious if you've done a blood test, fluid analysis, on the transmission, or how often you drain and fill or what the logged temperatures are on the ten speed. I'm also curious the quality of the shifts with the non-honda fluid. Are other drag Honda's running transmission coolers? Have you considered a Limited Slip like Traction Concepts? I'm going to be facing the same traction issues, but I'm a road course person, with a 6 speed manual. A golf R is built for the track from the start, a bit of an unfair comparison with AWD. There are lots of good suggestions already, but as its an oil board, I'll stick my neck out: Mobil 1 ESP Euro 0W-40 (Porsche C40, A40 and GMDexos R approvals) with the Fram HP17 seems like a high level of protection and these are generally available and won't break the bank. A 12 second Accord is fun, to avoid constantly chasing lower times, and the $$ drain; have you every considered bracket racing? Do I sound like an old man now? :ROFLMAO: WHEN IS YOUR NEXT RACE?? 🏆
