I bought one of the Longacre adjustable ones years ago, just looked at Summit and they wanted $99...I paid WAY less than that. While it is a fine filter cutter, it's not $99 fine if you know what I mean.
I have a Longacre as well
I don't own it but I think this one should be okay for occasional use.

Ive got that one and it continues to serve me well. I wouldnt have any hesitation buying it again when its too worn outI don't own it but I think this one should be okay for occasional use.

I would bet it is too, free shipping with prime, easier returns of it sucks. I would get that one.
That’s what I have. Works pretty good except for the tiny 6607 filters.I don't own it but I think this one should be okay for occasional use.

What happens on that filter?
There's a decent looking one on the Amazon machine for $40.
I lucked out and scored a custom made one off the eBay many years ago from a motorcycle shop for $10 shipped. It's cut many a filter for me.
JEGS has worked fine for me. Looks a lot like Summit's.

I used a pipe cutter for one of my videos, works only for small filters up to 2 5/8”. It doesn’t cut at the base and it takes some skill, but if you have pipe cutter experience it won’t be so bad.

It will cut it, but I have to put the filter in my vise to hold it. It’s just almost too small.
The best one I’ve ever used is made by caterpillar like this one. Even cuts hydraulic filters with very thick casings.

This thing has been working fine for me for about 20 years. Get and extra "blade" if you can.
OH, and you have to drill about a 1/4" hole to get it started, but it does a good job. Can be used on many other flat panel cuts as well, so it's multi use.
