Louvered Look Oil Filter Cool Collar from JEGS for $21.99.

anybody ever used one of these? it slips over the oil filter and is supposed to help pull heat away with the cooling fins. It makes sense with the heatsink principle i am just curious how much it would cool.

I can't find the link at the moment, but one member on JU (jeepsunlimited) test just about every oil cooler type there was. He tested a collar and found that he needed to apply a thermal grease to allow the heat to be shunted to the collar. For more reported results put "collar" into the search engine in this section.
