oil filter capacity?

i just bought a napa gold oil filter to use for my next oil change. this filter is bigger than oem honda filters i was using. my engine holds 4.5 qts of oil with the oem honda filter. Do i need to add any more oil with the larger napa gold filter. if so about how much?

Just a touch more probably. When you do the change put in 4.5, run the car and then check the level. Or just throw 5 quarts in and dont worry about it.

Run the vehicle for a few minutes after changing the oil & filter. Then shut her down and let sit for a half hour - then check the fill line on the dipstick. I would bet it doesn't need more than an additional four ounces.
