I am planning on purchasing some auto-rx to use in my 2001 beetle TDI.
I use a Pela 6000 to extract the oil from the dipstick tube (so i don't have to lift/crawl under).
Will draining through the "suction tube" of the oil extrator get all of the particles that may be in the bottom of the oil pan (not caught by the filter)?
Would it also be better to have the car angled toward the front (front lower than rear) when draining from the top (the dipstick is in front, not on the side of the pan)? I ask because I assume the particles would sink to the bottom, and go toward the end of the pan which was lowest.
Lastly, are there any concerns of oil restriction to the turbo during the cleaning phase? I worry that a bit of residue getting to the turbo or into the engine itself.
By the way, first post for me (and more to come I hope).
