I swapped out a tired engine for a rebuilt on my 90 Toyota truck (22 Re) and i need some guidance on break in oil changes with regular non-synthetic oil.

I already changed it at about 600 miles with a bigger filter Motorcraft FL1A ( yea i know a Toyota with a Mustang filter) and i put my Fumoto oil Valve in as well.

What about oil analysis?

I would put maybe 2000 miles on it and change it again. Oil analysis is going to show a lot of breakin metals for many thousands of miles. It would also show air intake leaks and or coolant system leaks.
Be aware that only the auto companies have really high tech machines to manufacture an engine and cut way down on the breakin needed. No rebuilder has that type of equipment and you should expect the normal breakin similar to the way new engines were manufactured 20 years ago.
